The dynamics of a proposed microelectromechanical system (MEMS) consisting an array limit cycle oscillators (LCOs) are analyzed. LCOs have dissimilar frequencies and coupled in nearest-neighbor configuration via electrostatic fringing fields. emergence synchrony the is outlined for two cases: self-synchronization to single frequency, entrainment external inertial drive.
